FORKLIFT OPERATOR SAFETY — ONLINE THEORY Prepare for safer powered industrial truck operation with Peakline Safety & Compliance. This self-paced online training introduces core OSHA 29 CFR 1910.178(l) truck-related and workplace-related topics, focusing on sit-down counterbalanced forklifts. Offered as a separate English-language course. WHAT YOU WILL LEARN • OSHA training responsibilities and equipment limits • Truck types, manuals, controls and power systems • Pre-use inspections and removal of defective equipment from service • Load centers, rated capacity and forklift stability • Forks, attachments, load handling and stacking • Safe travel, turns, ramps and visibility • Pedestrian separation, site hazards and loading docks • Refueling, battery charging, parking and incident reporting • Refresher training and employer evaluation responsibilities TRAINING PACKAGE 12 written lessons with learning goals and workplace scenarios; a graded 20-question final exam requiring 80% (16 correct), with up to three attempts; a personalized online theory completion certificate after all steps and a passing exam; and an employer practical evaluation checklist. HOW THE PROCESS WORKS 1. Complete the online theory lessons in your preferred language. 2. Pass the 20-question final exam at 80% or higher and retain your theory certificate. If unsuccessful, review the lessons and retry within the three-attempt limit. Contact info@peaklinesafety.com after three unsuccessful attempts. 3. Arrange hands-on demonstrations and supervised practical exercises on the equipment used at work. 4. Have a person with appropriate knowledge, training and experience evaluate actual workplace performance. Your employer documents full training and evaluation in accordance with OSHA requirements. IMPORTANT: ONLINE THEORY IS NOT FULL FORKLIFT OPERATOR QUALIFICATION. This course does not issue an OSHA forklift license and does not, by itself, authorize independent operation. Practical training and workplace performance evaluation are separate employer responsibilities. Some powered industrial truck types require additional equipment-specific training. PRICE AND SUPPORT: $79 for online theory and the digital completion certificate. Optional physical card: $15 including fees, handling and United States shipping ($94 total with the course). Cards are prepared after completion and payment verification; expected delivery is 5–7 business days after mailing. In-person training and practical evaluation are arranged and quoted separately.
